General

Open fires are not permitted on the beach.

Alcohol is prohibited in public areas.

Do not park or drive on the beaches - help preserve the sand dunes.

You must be at least 14 years old to operate a jet ski. Always wear a flotation device and drive safely!

Kid Smart - On October 1, 1992, a new Florida law went into effect requiring all children under the age of six to wear a life jacket when aboard boats less than 26 feet in length, while under way. Under way means at all times except when the vessel is anchored, moored or aground. (Subsection (1 ) of Section 327.50, Florida Statutes.) Boat owners and operators who forget will be reminded with warnings, tickets and fines of up to $50 per violation. Read more about Kids and Boating Safety.
